I didn't set out to write a book.
I set out to understand something that kept bothering me.
Why do the same situations keep returning — in business, in relationships, in life — even when everything on the surface looks different?
I spent nearly two decades building businesses. Technology. Travel. Food. Scaled a brand to 60+ outlets. Made decisions. Made mistakes. Rebuilt.
And through all of it, one thing kept showing up.
Patterns.
Not random. Never random.
In 1994, at 18, I found an old manuscript in a dusty shop in Manali. A forgotten text — part Sanskrit, part Prakrit — that a retired professor helped me read. Its first line stopped me.
“Lost wealth can be regained. But lost wisdom is never recovered.”
— Manali Manuscript (1994)
I didn't understand it fully then. Three decades later, I think I do.
Life Is Not Random is that understanding — finally put into words.
