timing
"It didn’t start now… this is just where you noticed it."
We often mark the beginning
at the moment something becomes undeniable.
The day it breaks.
The day it fails.
The day it finally shows itself.
And we call that the start.
But that is rarely where it began.
It began quietly.
In small compromises.
In things that felt too minor to matter.
Nothing dramatic.
Nothing urgent.
Just enough to pass unnoticed.
Over time, it built—
layer by layer,
choice by choice.
So when it finally becomes clear,
it feels sudden.
But only because
the earlier moments were not seen.
What feels like a beginning
is often just the point of recognition.
